Come for the best week of your summer! Each morning campers will participate in engaging worship and motivating Bible teaching. Each afternoon will campers participate in fun, high energy outdoor activities focused on skills and team building!


Who


Youth entering Grade 6 to Grade 9 as of fall 2016 (born between 2002-2005)


When


Monday August 15 to Friday August 19, 2016 from 9:00am-4:00pm. Doors open at 8:30pm and pick up is promptly at 4:00pm. Youth can only be picked up by pre-approved parent/guardians.


Where


Day camp activities will take place at the Harvest York Region Markham campus (8176 McCowan Road) with afternoon activities held at various off campus destinations.

Frequently Asked Questions


Each camper should bring a water bottle, hat, sunscreen, the required material for their Wednesday elective, and a peanut/nut free lunch every day with an afternoon snack.
Skyzone and The Hub require additional, independent, electronic consent forms. The link to these consent forms will sent to the email a week before the first day of camp and must be completed before camp beings.
There is no lunch option for campers.
We want each youth to have the opportunity to attend Jr High Day Camp. If you are in need of financial assistance please fill out the Financial Assistance form and submit it as a hard copy or through email to Jason Lock (jasonl@hbcyr.ca). The form must be completed and submitted to Jason Lock before August 3rd to be eligible.
Refunds with a cancellation fee of $20 are available if cancellation occurs before 11:59pm on August 10th, 2016. No refund will be available after 11:59pm on August 12th, 2016.
Doors open at 8:30am each day and pick up is promptly at 4:00pm. Campers can only be picked up by pre-approved parent/guardians and no before/after care is provided.
Campers should be picked up by pre-approved parent/guardians. If a parent/guardian wishes to give permission for their camper to walk themselves home, they must contact Jason Lock directly at jasonl@hbcyr.ca to gain walk-home approval for their camper.
All iPods, phones, electronics should be left at home.
Campers can request to be paired in the same squad as another friend in the registration process. We will consider all requests, but squad pairing is not guaranteed.
